Using mixed techniques (printing, gluing and painting) on various materials, such as the semi-transparent ones and especially wedding veils, I tried to create an environment of immersion in a single thought, in a single feeling – the Obsession, the Exaltation of Love in its state of Promise, Expectation, Hope and Dream characteristic of an Engagement.
It should be mentioned that I was inspired by the Song of Songs and I supported myself in the poetry of Magnólia Martins (M.M.) who agreed to collaborate with me on this project and whom I thank. It should also be noted that this is a work in progress, in the sense that the set presented is still immensely incomplete.
In an ever-troubled world, I understand this exhibition as a poetic counterpoint, a space of Liberation and an invitation to Immersion in the Greater sentiment that I intend to Celebrate.
